WHISTLING DUCKS

 WE have ducks on the Dublin Ranch in Mission, Texas.  They fly by to hang out at the Coatello Ranch man-made pond.

These ducks are not handsome like Mallards.

They quack. 

They are ducks!

CHUCHI ON TEXAS WHITEWING DOVE SEASON

Chuchi looks out at the rainy sky of the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. It is the first day of Whitewing Dove Season. The hunting began at noon. Rain put the breaks on the event for a bit. That had to have upset the mighty huntsmen!

Many purchase chicken to grill on the hunting ground. Ice and beer bring up the rear. Because you need cerveza to hunt?

Wow.

A COOL COLORADO GET AWAY

WE are looking for a Cool Colorado town to travel to as an escape from the hellish heat of South Texas!  Whew! Enough of the 3 digit temps! WE need a Cool Off!

ARE the DPS checkpoints in the Rio Grande Valley retaliation for critcism of the DPS?
Remember the family that was killed as a result of a DPS trooper chasing a car thief?
The car thief will face justice of course. No way he will skate.
